For the octave of Pentecost a proper Mass given in the Missal is said on each day, with the Credo, Preface of Holy Ghost, and a proper Communicántes and *Hanc ígitur.* Corpus Christi is commemorated throughout the Octave, the Creed is recited, and the Preface is of the Nativity in Masses lacking a proper Preface.
