Blessing of Our New Cope
For years we have had only a white cope, and wanted another that could be worn on Sundays when the vestments are red or green as well as white. We decided to buy a gold cope. One of our parishioners said she would match the donations made by other parishioners, and found a vestment maker on the Internet, Catholic Liturgicals in India. The package arrived just in time for the traditional observance of Christ the King, and was used for the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in conjunction with the renewal of the Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
